The gift that keeps on giving

Headline from MSNBC: Many Worry Bin Laden's Death Could Spark Attack

Talk about making use of every part of the swine -- even its squeak!

American intelligence and politicians have spent 10 years wringing every last bit of malevolent usefulness out of omnipresent Osama Bin Laden.

Now, even in death, Bin Laden is proving useful.

Fear is the name of the game.

Keep the populace off balance with irregular injections of irrational fear and they will be as compliant as kittens.

Just ask Wall Street CEOs how well this has worked, after rewarding themselves with $135 billion in "bonuses" for all their hard work in 2010.

Who in the US has the energy or focus to be up-in-arms about the foreclosure crisis when "the terrorists" could attack at any time?

So, poor, minding-its-own-business, just-want-to-get-along America must once again be on guard against attack now that their brave forces have finally (allegedly) dispatched Osama Bin Laden to his six dozen virgins in the afterlife.

The hysterical, not-to-be-trusted American corporate media -- as manipulated by the country's oligarchs and military industrial complex -- have not only found a use for Bin Laden's squeak, but will have Americans hiding under their beds for months -- if not years -- with Bin Laden's ghost.

Good work if you can get it.
